On Saturday morning we went to Golitha Falls in Cornwall to shoot some photographs for Shannon's image portfolio. Golitha Falls is an amazing place and well worth a visit. A large area of woodland with the river Fowey coursing through it's heart. What we didn't take into account was the fact it was a bank holiday weekend! The place was packed with holiday makers all out to enjoy themselves in the sun. The weather forecast was for an overcast sky which is perfect when shooting in woodland. Unfortunately the forecast got it wrong. The sun was high in the sky casting really hard light through the trees. I had a real battle on trying to shoot in these conditions. We managed to get some fantastic images though despite these conditions. The main obstacle was trying to time shooting to avoid random strangers walking into the shot!
Here are a couple of edited images from the shoot!
